Abstract: | SNAKE SWALLOWS SNAKE is a research/creation project that deep dives into the representation of women’s sexuality from a sapphic and feminist perspective. This research focuses on the power of the erotic in our bodies and how that erotic power is shared by our bodies in relation to the physical world. This research prioritizes an endogenous, pleasureful method shifting the intellectual dominance of ‘rational’ thought as the sole mode of expression and knowing and poetically drifts with concepts of the dark, void, intimacy, and intersubjectivity. |
