Abstract
This paper discusses the need for new models of education due to the complexity and speed
of change in the world. I introduce OCAD U’s Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and
Innovation as one of a number of innovative programs attempting to become a responsible
actor in the positive transformation of contemporary society. I reflect on the successes and
challenges involved in the development and implementation of this highly innovative program
